Introduction

The Lister Partner Program is for individuals who wish to list a room they are about to vacate, making it available for renters. This creates a smooth transition between outgoing and incoming tenants while helping renters secure verified spaces before arrival.

Who is a Lister?

A Lister is a user who uploads a room they currently occupy but plan to vacate within 7 to 30 days. The room is listed so that incoming renters can view and reserve it ahead of time, ensuring continuity and convenience for both parties.

Criteria for Listing a Room

To qualify for the Lister Partner Program, you must meet the following conditions:

• You are currently occupying the room and will vacate it within 7 to 30 days.
• The room should be clean, safe, and in a habitable condition.
• You must provide accurate details, including rent, room type, and expected vacate date.
• A video of the room is mandatory for your listing to be approved.
• You are responsible for ensuring all listing details remain accurate throughout the listing period.
• No inspection fees are allowed to be charged to renters. Inspections are free.
• You must have a direct contact with the landlord or authorized representative of the apartment
• In the event that you are listing a vacant room, you must either be the landlord, an authorized representative of the listing.

What You Stand to Earn

As a Lister, you earn ₦10,000 for every successful reservation made through your listing. Once a client reserves your room and the reservation is confirmed, you will be credited directly to your registered bank account.

How to Get Started

• Sign Up: Create or log in to your Upperoom Listings account.
• List Your Room: Submit the required details about the room you're vacating (within 7 to 30 days), including a clear video of the space.
• Get Approved: Once your listing is reviewed and published, it becomes available for reservation.
• Earn: Once a reservation is successfully processed, you receive your ₦10,000 reward.

Lister Responsibilities

• Only list a room you currently live in and plan to vacate soon.
• Ensure accuracy in the rent amount, dates, and property description.
• Upload a clear and recent video of the room you're listing.
• Communicate any updates or cancellations promptly to Upperoom Listings.
• Honor all confirmed reservations unless unavoidable circumstances arise.

Payment Process

₦10,000 is credited to your wallet once both you (the lister) and the client confirm that the apartment is vacant. The commission will be available in your earnings section.

Once the payment is available, you can request a payout after filling in your bank details.
